Hi - Do You Know Me?

Another podcast! Where? Well, right here!

It's been a little while, and I apologize for that. This week's podcast was actually 90% complete a couple of weeks ago, it was just a matter of laying down the vocal tracks, and this hectic winter kind of prevented me from getting it done sooner. However - here we are with another butt kicking podcast!

Starting the podcast off this week is "Harlequin Tears" by Hohokam. A Depeche Mode sounding band, they were originally on Gary Newman's NUMA record label.

I dug out some deeper tracks this week - bands you may not remember, but definitely deserving a listen. Bands such as Comsat Angels, Chameleons, David & David, plus more familiar bands like INXS and the Pretenders. So, put on your Walkman, and enjoy  this week's edition of Alt80s!

Week of 1/16/2011 - Regular, or Unleaded?

Another year, another missed podcast write up! Welcome to 2011 - I'm so glad you made it! If you missed the previous podcast (and really - why would you have?) you can find it here

The 80's was a great decade of style and greed - and what better way to display that then with our cars? A decade where greed was good and excess was equally as important; the 80's produced some cars that will never be forgotten, and some that should be.

This week's podcast is chock full of our obsession with showing that greed (or poor taste, if you prefer), and embracing our love of those automotive beasts of the 80's.
